Closed Beta First Month with Extra ORI Rewards

As Oriole Insights wraps up its first successful month of Closed Beta testing, there’s an air of excitement and celebration. This milestone marks a month of robust testing and the start of a rewarding journey for its most active and skilled users.


Rewarding Top Performers

Oriole Insights is keen on recognizing and rewarding users with exceptional skill and activity in specific categories. We plan to reward the Top 50 people in each category. The reward will be an extra 300 ORI to their account. These are the categories:


  1. Top 50 users by Reputation score
  2. Top 50 by the number of votes
  3. Top 50 users who have the most successful votes (Amount of ORI gained in one vote)
  4. Top 50 users by their Zealy experience
  5. Top 50 users by vote Accuracy (Among those who made 100+ votes)
  6. Top 50 users with the lowest ORI balance
  7. All users who have reached 2nd Level — Enthusiast

  • The list of users eligible for extra ORI rewards — 27th of December 2023
  • ORI distribution to the internal account balance — 28–29th of December 2023

As you can see, we promote and cherish user activity in different areas. We both encourage people who have the most successful votes and the most unsuccessful ones. We value users' interest in the platform and their passion for understanding different aspects. We will help those who try different strategies, risk with long-term votes, and develop their skill sustainably. After all, only two months are left until the end of the closed beta.


Thinking Long-Term

A dominance of short-term predictions marked the first month. This results from people trying new products and looking at their features. We encourage users to place more mid-term and long-term votes. This type of prediction opens huge opportunities for crypto analytics and forecasting.


❗️IMPORTANT❗️Furthermore, the ORI balance from the Closed Beta won’t be replicated in the Public Beta, so you shouldn’t worry about losing ORI.


Moreover, users with the most excellent results in Closed Beta will be granted special badges and an extra amount of ORI at the beginning of Public Beta.


Emission and ORI Pool Increase

We want to have a controlled increase in the ORI emission, which will be helpful for both active users and the overall prediction landscape. The additional ORI shall be used for additional votes focusing on mid-term and long-term votes.

As Oriole Insights moves beyond the first month of Closed Beta, the focus remains on continuous growth and improvement. The increased ORI emission and the initiative to reward top users are steps in this direction, reflecting the platform’s dedication to evolving in line with its users’ needs and the dynamics of the prediction market.


We thank you all for your active participation, as it gives us a unique opportunity to master our product. We have already enhanced and expanded our inner software logic based on the experience from the Closed Beta. We also have loads of feedback about our UX, UI, and overall satisfaction with the platform. Next types of prediction markets are being created so that we can present them according to our Roadmap.


Finally, it's the end of the year and the Christmas season! We can’t leave our users without presents, so we announce that:


  • 50 Random users will also get 300 ORI
  • All the Ambassadors will be granted an extra 500 ORI


How to become an Oriole Insights Ambassador?

Ambassadors share Oriole content, write about it, and popularize it in curious and creative ways. To become one, you should come up with new and creative ways to spread the knowledge on Oriole Insights. Here’s a manual:


  1. The user should fill out the form — https://forms.gle/Kp2KMocryDkrPjTf6. There, you choose which role you want to get and insert the needed info. Please do not put misinformation to get specific roles; we choose ambassadors manually.
  2. You should start creating content and submit it in the #user-content channel in Discord: https://discord.gg/UC8ezuPhPy. Please note that we always prefer QUALITY over quantity. Though quantity is important, it’s better to make a few authentic posts than an amount of dull and basic pieces of content.
  3. Once a week, we will choose several ambassadors based on their contribution to #user-content.
  4. If you are selected, you will get the Role; you will be added to a Discord channel, where the subsequent actions will be described.
