Testing of ROI & Initial Listing Predictions Validation Mechanics

We are excited to announce the ROI Voting Validation Testing phase! This is a critical step in enhancing the accuracy and fairness of our ROI prediction markets, and we need your help to make it a success.

Why Are We Conduct Beta Testing?

We aim to ensure that the ROI prediction markets operate smoothly and that the validation process is transparent and reliable. We strive to gather valuable feedback and improve the overall experience by involving our community in this testing phase.

Rewards for Participation

To show our appreciation for your participation, we have established a prize pool of 100,000 ORI to be distributed on the Public Beta website. The number of completed validations will determine the rank (place in the leaderboard of validators), and here’s how the rewards will be allocated:

  • 1st place: 10,000 ORI
  • 2nd-5th place: 5,000 ORI each
  • 6th-10th place: 3,000 ORI each

The remaining ORI will be distributed equally among all participants, including those who place in the top 10. This ensures that everyone who contributes to the testing phase is rewarded for their efforts.

Validators’ progress will be updated daily in👉this table.

Who Can Participate?

To participate in the ROI Voting Validation Testing, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have access to your account in the Closed Beta (Early-Bird 1 role in Discord)
  • Have at least Level 1 and a reputation score of 4 or higher.

How to Get Involved?

  1. Access the Closed Beta: Ensure you have access to your Closed Beta account. ROI Testing on Closed Beta will be held here: beta.orioleinsights.io
  2. Join the Discord Channel: We have created a dedicated #roi-validation-testing channel on our Discord. All test participants who have the Discord role “Early Bird—BETA 1” will have access to this channel.
  3. Validate and Discuss: As a validator, you will verify the results of the vote, namely the proposed winning option of the Oriole Insights team based on your judgment, and provide an explanation of your choice in the Discord channel.

How to Join the Discord Channel?

If you meet the participation criteria, please follow these steps to join the #roi-validation-testing channel:

  1. Search for the Oriole Insights Сlosed Beta category.
  2. Navigate to the #roi-validation-testing channel.
  3. Introduce yourself and start participating in the discussions.

Actions for Validators

  • Review the Decision: Carefully examine Oriole’s decision against the presented data. Do your due diligence.
  • Agree or Disagree: Click the “Agree” or “Disagree” button based on the assessment. Your decision will contribute to the validation process and will be counted toward reaching a consensus.
  • Summary and Discussion: Check the summary for additional context or explanations that might influence your decision. If you need further clarification or wish to discuss this with other validators, you can use the “Open Discord” button to join the conversation on the community server.
  • Wait for Consensus: After voting, the validation process continues until a quorum is reached. If your decision aligns with the majority, the validation process moves forward; if not, Oriole Insights will present an alternative outcome for re-validation.

Validation Delta

Understanding delta is essential for the ROI validation process on Oriole Insights. This mechanism ensures accuracy, fairness, and community-driven validation.

Validation Delta—the difference required in validator votes to determine whether an answer is correct or not. This difference can be either agreement or disagreement. When the delta is reached, it signifies a consensus level among validators, leading to either a re-selection of the correct result or confirmation of the initially selected result.

Reaching a quorum involves agreement among validators, considering the set delta parameter, ensuring a fair and accurate validation process.

Validation process visual example:

When users navigate to the validation section of the Oriole Insights platform as validators, they are presented with a clear and structured interface that guides them through the decision-making process.

Information Overview

  • Proposed Correct Outcome by Oriole Insights team: At the top, validators can see the Oriole Insights decision, which indicates the predicted outcome range the platform has provisionally selected. In this case, it’s “#7 and #8; $0.05 — $0.075 and $0.075 — $0.1 price range; MC: $349M—$523M and $523M—$697M”.
  • Token Listing Details: Below, you’ll notice a brief description of the token, indicating it was listed on Bybit, KuCoin, OKX, Gate, MEXC, Bitget, and the specific closing price of the 30-minute candle upon listing.
  • Agreement Option: In the next section, the validator can see “Disagree” and “Agree”. Validators are expected to review the information and make their decision carefully.
  • Validation Pool: The amount displayed here represents the ORI amount allocated as rewards for validators. For instance, “Validation pool: 10,000 ORI” indicates the total ORI set aside for this validation process.

Agreement and Disagreement

Interface:

  • After selecting the “Disagree” or “Agree” option, validators will see a confirmation of their choice and the current status of the validation process.
  • The “Agreement scale” shows the percentage of validators who agree or disagree with the Oriole decision, visually representing consensus among validators.

Summary and Discussion:

  • Validators can see a summary of their decision and the overall validation pool amount, which in this case is “10,000 ORI”.
  • If further clarification is needed or to discuss the matter with other validators, validators can use the “Open Discord” button to join the conversation on the community server.

Delta and Alternative Outcomes:

  • The “Agreement scale” indicates the progress towards reaching a consensus. If the delta of 5 is not reached, Oriole Insights will present another outcome for validators to consider.
  • This ensures that if a significant portion of validators disagree with the proposed outcome, an alternative is evaluated to maintain the accuracy and fairness of the prediction market.

Delta Not Reached

If the delta of 5 is not reached during the validation process:

Current Status:

  • Validators will see a confirmation that the delta has yet to be reached. The “Agreement scale” will show the percentage of validators who agree or disagree with the Oriole decision, visually representing the lack of consensus.

New Validators Voting Round:

  • Since the delta has not been reached, the validation process will start again with new options proposed by the Oriole Insights team. This ensures that an alternative outcome is evaluated to maintain the accuracy and fairness of the prediction market.

New Validation Voting Round

When the delta and consensus have not been reached, a new validation round starts with another proposed set of options from the Oriole Insights team.

Delta Reached and Validation Stage Finished

When the delta is reached and the consensus is achieved, the validation stage is completed. Validators will see the updated interface indicating the successful completion of the validation process.

Our team will closely monitor all processes in the Discord channel. We encourage open communication and will provide support to ensure a smooth testing experience. Your feedback and active participation are essential to the success of this testing phase.
