Chainlink is a decentralized oracle network that aims to connect smart contracts on blockchain platforms with real-world data and external APIs. Chainlink's native cryptocurrency, LINK, is used to incentivize and reward node operators who provide accurate data to smart contracts. The primary challenge for smart contracts is their inability to access off-chain information, which limits their functionality. Chainlink solves this problem by enabling smart contracts to interact with real-world data.

Rocket Pool is a decentralized liquid staking protocol that allows users to earn rewards on their ETH holdings. It provides a decentralized node operator network, enabling users to either join the network or run their own nodes with a minimum of 16 ETH. The platform also  offers smart nodes, which are a custom node software that allows anyone to run a node on its network.
